If you were all voters, Vlad would impale his way to PL Player of the Year

Goooood evening AU Hoops fans! Be advised that the Lehigh game may have some trouble being played this weekend as another snowpocalypse is making its way toward DC. Projects are for 12-20", and if the Hill Pigeons have some trouble getting down then we may not be playing until Superbowl Sunday, which would be quite a day of sports.

Anyway, it's Wednesday, and that means poll of the week time!

I guess it's no surprise that Vlad "the Impaler" Moldoveanu was the runaway winner in this poll, coming away with 80% of the vote. Marquis Hall, who we will face at some point this weekend, was second at 8%. Personally I think that it will come down to Vlad and Chris Harris from Navy. Lehigh's McCollum will win the Rookie of the Year award running away. Hall puts up good numbers, but he's been overshadowed a bit by Zahir Carrington, C.J. McCollum, and Gabe Knutson. I think Vlad certainly would win the award if it was a Most Valuable Player award; no player in the league means more to his team's success than Vlad does to ours. But that isn't the name of the award, Player of the Year means overall achievement, and I guess on second thought, Marquis Hall would be a good contender in the same way that Derrick Mercer was last year; Derrick wasn't the flashiest player on the team, but he probably had the best overall season/career. Hmm. Alright, I've talked myself into Vlad, Hall, and Harris. We'll see how it goes.
