Athletics is Giving Away Pizza, But Our Boys Are Making Bison Burgers

So we should've gotten this up a lot earlier, so I'm going to be quick and dirty about it. Here's the preview for tonight:

Let's be honest, the matchup earlier this season is not one we should have lost. This was the one we dropped 72-68 in overtime where Vlad and Hendra combined to shoot 12-32. We're a different team now (I think) than we were when last we met, but I still think we could have some trouble tonight against the Bison. Here's why, Bucknell is lacking a star player. They've got 5 guys who average over 8 points, so they're very hard to prepare for. You never know which guy is going to step up. At the same time, they're lacking someone like Vlad who can take a game over. What they aren't lacking is a big man, however. Freshman Mike Muscala has been a force in the paint and leads the league in blocks. This is bad news for us since we don't drive into the lane particularly well to begin with. Lump has GOT to come back from a terrible performance against Zahir Carrington and Lehigh and show Muscala why he's got a lot to learn as a freshman.

If we can play solid defense and have a big game from Lump (and keep Joe Hill's shots to under 10, with maybe 1-2 from inside the arc) I think we've got a chance to avenge that road loss. If we do, we'll be tied for second place with Lafayette.

Joe Hill is the projected starter for this game, so Hendra's return tonight is dubious.

Be careful coming to the game. The roads are better today but still not great.
