PL Check-In: Turbo Edition

So I know that I know I owe all of you a PL check-in today, because it's Monday. But I've been doing some thinking, and you know, you all know about these things called ESPN.com, Rivals.com, cbs.sportsline.com, and/or sports.yahoo.com, and thus you can look up standings, teams played, results, etc. for pretty much any team out there. So here's the thing, I'm going to give you the standings, tell you if a team beat a team or lost to a team they shouldn't have, and then I'm going to call it a day. Besides, I have a Good, Bad, and Ugly, to write, and that's, I think, more interesting for everyone.

Anyway, here are the standings:

Team W L
Army 9 4
Lehigh 8 6
Lafayette 8 6
Navy 6 8
Bucknell 5 10
Holy Cross 3 11
American 3 11
Colgate 2 10

Notable wins/losses for each team (if any):
Army: Harvard (10-3) (W), Princeton (7-5) (W) - Army remains the pride of the PL and the only hope the PL champ has of not being in the play-in game is if Army wins the PL tournament

Lehigh: Columbia (6-6) (L) - Lehigh has rattled off 4 straight wins...against mediocre teams. They've got a good record now, but they've beaten a bucketful of abysmal teams.

Lafayette: They've pretty much won and lost the games they should've. Boring. Should be competitive in league play for the first time in a couple of years though.

Navy: Howard (2-13) (L), UMES (3-9) (L) - Chris Harris can't put this entire team on his back. This is just another team in the muddled middle of the PL.

Bucknell: Dartmouth (3-10) (L) - What a disappointment they've been thus far. A ton of talent on this team, and they're just not getting it done.

Holy Cross: Came very close to knocking off Sacred Heart (9-5) and GWU (10-3). This team has been a big disappointment, too. Unbelievable talent, and they just are not gelling under Coach Sean Kearney's system.

Colgate: A team AU absolutely has to beat twice in PL play, but Kyle Roemer just went off for 38 points though, the guy is a beast. If he could just get some support they could do some damage in the PL tourney.

Alright, that was great. Like scrubbing myself with lye and sandpaper.

Good, Bad, and Ugly next!

Pro deo et patria and GO EAGLES!
