This is much better than the package through AU, which only gives you AU home games (which I've always felt is stupid, but hey, that's life I guess). It was even worse in person! Some grade school teams could shoot better than AU in the first half. The lack of offense, ability to create and ability to get good shots was embarassing for a D1 team.
ReplyDeletePut me down for 100 votes for Riley as a guy who should never start and Joe Hill should not be getting minutes either, he is too slow to play a wing player and too short to get off his shot. 1 shot in 13 minutes and nothing else. Fisher is too slow on D and can not create anything on offense.
Riley 9 minutes 0 points, Simon 30 minutes 5 points, Dan Fisher 0 points 10 minutes, Luptak 2 points 6 minutes, Joe Hill 3 points 13 minutes. Total 10 points, 68 minutes. These guys can not play offense and are getting too many minutes. nother option is needed from the outside for Vlad and sometimes Nick or as they did today, they'll just play off the weaker guys who are no threat and double Vlad and sometimes Nick. I think Bersch is needed as a credible threat who can get off his shot. It looks like JJ has him anchored to the bench for some reason.
I'm staying home next time.
