I predict 94-37. What's that, almost 60 points? Yup.
I hope Zahir Carrington is able to at least pull off a nice dunk or two, becuase he is a class act that has played hard for four years. However not to risk sounding crude but...SUCK IT MCCOLLUM! Even the Kansas press release mentions him as the "highest scoring freshman in the country." I hate how they're just inflating his already gigantic ego - I mean, Lehigh's schedule was pretty darn cupcake, if he had to play in the Big 12 he wouldn't be the highest scoring anything. I can't believe I've found something in the Patriot League I dislike as much as if not more than Holy Cross...
Actually, I hope that Lehigh has a good showing because it says something about the quality of the Patriot League. If Lehigh goes down flaming like Icarus then what does that say about our team?
I'm in the difficult position of rooting for Siena and Vermont this time around. (With Vermont eating Lehigh like a fat kid with Ben and Jerrys, and trust me as a Fat Kid, that's pretty cruel)
Honestly, if Lehigh keeps it within 20 or goes down flaming by 60 it won't affect people's perception of the Patriot League (or us) at all. If it's within 10 or Lehigh actually pulls out the FIRST 16 seed win, then obviously it's good for all of us. Still, we had an exceptionally bad game in the semifinals vs. Lehigh, and frankly they had the older, more experienced, and better players this year, so we've already done better than expected and their performance in the tourney reflects little on us.
I have Siena going to the second round in my bracket, but sadly just can't see Vermont going very far, although they do have a decent history of upsets vs. Syracuse. I think the odds are stacked a little too highly against them this time, though.

Kansas is favored by 26 and a half. This goes back to the early part of the season when they were regularly beating NCAA minnows by 30 points or more.
