Quick Hit: Seven Three Pointers?

Well, that's one way to show everyone that you do deserve the reputation you have. Troy Brewer went off for 7 three pointers and finished with 24 points against Howard last night. In doing so, he also got his first double-double. My lips are zipped to any further criticism about his three point capabilities.

The nickname competition for Troy begins riiiiight now.

The Rainmaker? Three's Company? ThreeThreeMcThree? That's all I got.

Leave it in the comments.

Pro deo et patria and GO EAGLES!

  1. This ties for fourth-most threes made in a single game in school history. Tied, of course, with the seven threes Garrison Carr knocked down versus Howard in 2008.

  2. Everybody needs someone around who is known as T-Bone! Heck - I want to call my 4 year old daughter T-Bone but my wife has finally drawn the line on my nonsense.

    Happy Thanksgiving all.

  3. While at U of Georgia his "nickname" was listed as "T-Roy". See link: http://www.nmnathletics.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=8800&ATCLID=1257179

I suggest that his nickname at AU be "Three-Roy" in honor of his behind the arc skills.
