I was heartened that, first play of the game, AU ran a play for Brewer curling under the basket. He didn't make it because he tried to catch and shoot when he probably had time to come down with the ball. Anyway, it's a great play that I've seen Maryland run for years and years. A guy like Brewer should be able to eat up the PL with this play next year. I hope we pull it out again in the PL tournament and not shelve it just because it didn't work the first time we tried it.
Colgate had three solid players in Pascale, Gyawu, and Rolls. They did well to keep up with AU most of the game. But those guys needed some serious help and didn't get it. AU was just too big and Vlad too talented once he hit those 3s near the end.
Next up is Lafayette, and I hope we get better fan turnout. No matter what happens, last home game of the year.
